Just like human’s, our fur babies are all different and have a variety of washing, coat and skin care requirements.

At Trendy Tails you can have peace of mind that your precious will never miss a wash by booking a regular advance appointment, according to you and your dogs needs. This can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly. A confirmation call will follow up the day before so you will never miss your booked appointment.

Of course some pups will only just need a wash now and then, for special occasions or because they have found something extra special to roll in.

Dog Wash

Trendy Tails offers a pre bath brush out before a warm hydrobath with fresh water, using quality shampoo and conditioner. A warm relaxing blow dry and final brush to remove any knots, dematting and removal of undercoat. To finish off we offer ear cleaning and nails trimmed.

Got Fur?

Whether your doggy lives inside or out, has short hair or long. Trendy Tails grooms your fur baby removing knots, matted fur and shedding fur that is caught in the undercoat.

Why does my dog scratch and chew?

If your dog is scratching, chewing or licking itself they are telling you there is something wrong! There are a number of reasons for skin irritation. Some will be easy to settle with a wash to clean a dirty coat and dry skin or a good grooming session to remove knots, matting and shedding undercoat.Sores, swelling, redness and hair loss, a visit to your vet is needed to determine the cause and correct treatment including correct shampoo and washing regime.

Fleas & Ticks are not dirty words!

Dogs and Cats get fleas, they are everywhere. If your fur-baby finds itself living with fleas there are a number of ways to remove the adult fleas and prevent their eggs from hatching. A flea bath and rinse can help reduce / remove the adult fleas but you will require additional preventative medication. It is also advised that you wash all dog bedding.
